Now Recruiting Singers For Summer Session 2024! 〰️

What Others Are Saying

  • Fusion is an exciting new opportunity for singers in the Gallatin Valley. I have been working with the organizers of 406 A Cappella Project from the beginning. Their passion and dedication to the choral arts is impressive. I would encourage all singers, especially my former singers, to get on board with this new ensemble. As I've always expressed to the members of the choirs that I've directed, singing is a life long endeavor. This is a perfect opportunity to get back in the game.

  • 406 A Cappella Project aims to keep music as a life long opportunity for everyone! Music should follow us our whole lives, and fusion will make that possible for more people. Go for it!

  • So that fusion can perform at a high level, participants will be expected to be prepared for every rehearsal by knowing assigned parts.

For any given session, singers are expected to attend rehearsals once a week and commit to performances. Singers should also commit to consistent at-home practice.

fusion has three distinct singing sessions each year: summer, fall, and spring. Choose one - two - or all three. The choice is yours! All sessions conclude with a live performance.

  • The musical repertroire of fusion will be a reflection of both the individuals in the group, and the interests of the community. For spring 2024, selections are contemporary and relatable (e.g. Dance the Night, For Good). In the future we might add jazz or classical pieces to the mix. The repertroire will be fluid, changing and growing organically to reflect the interests of the group and community. What will be constant? …the relevance and vibrance of fusion. Join us!

  • fusion welcomes singers 18 years and older. If you are younger than 18 and would like to participate, please contact us so that we can start a conversation!

  • Striving for A Cappella Excellence

fusion is a singing ensemble for individuals who want to sing in a modern a cappella style - and sing well. We value a singer’s willingness to try new arrangements, be vocally vulnerable, strive for improvement, ask for help, and perform with passion.

    Embracing Diversity

fusion welcomes all talented singers, 18 years and older with some vocal training. If you do not meet all these criteria and are interested in singing with us, please contact us.

    Singing For Joy

As a new singing ensemble, we’re looking for participants who want to help shape our identity. We envision a group of singers gathering to do what they love: sing. We envision singers getting their souls fed through song and movement.

    Singing For Purpose

We support vocalists in all stages of their vocal journey. We show this support through our commitment to the vocal arts in the Gallatin Valley: from supporting young vocalists in public schools to supporting collegiate vocalists at Montana State University, to giving back to our local communities by enriching lives through song.

  • No! No fees will be charged to participants through spring 2024. That’s right. There’s no catch. Come sing!

Also, we value a singer’s individuality. As an ensemble that sings in the modern a cappella style, there will be no uniform required for this ensemble.
